Spring Piglets

These are three new additions to our ever expanding collection of animals. The larger black pig is a Berkshire gilt that I brought onto the farm to introduce into our breeding program. My plan is to breed her with our resident Tamworth boar and raise the piglets for sale as whole hogs. The two little ones are piglets born on the farm on March 18th. It was a tough delivery for the mother so we only ended up with two piglets. We expect more piglets in Early August.
