History
Our property surrounds the entire Durham Cemetery. Reverend Brown once owned the farm and he is buried in the cemetery and the road is named after him. There are a lot of familiar names of the families that originally settled here in Durham, New York from Durham, Connecticut. Most interesting are the soldiers that are buried here. Every Memorial Day the VFW comes and places flags on the graves of those who served in the wars in the 1700 and 1800’s.
